Wimmera Machinery Field Days
Partners in Ag is proud to be joining forces with the Wimmera Machinery Field Days in 2024 to bring schools of the Wimmera Mallee a new resource kit to assist in their excursions to one of country Australia’s largest agricultural and agribusiness trade shows. The Ag Ed Quest is also support by WIM Resource.
The Ag Ed Quest provides a fun, educational and engaging pack of information for schools to ensure students and teachers make the most of their time at the Wimmera Machinery Fields Days (Tuesday 5 – Thursday 7 March 2024).
The Ag Ed Quest will see Primary and Secondary students catered for with classroom activities, planned itineraries and an on-site fact-finding mission to keep the students entertained for a day at the Field Days.
The Ag Ed Quest provides a fun, educational and engaging pack of information for schools to ensure students and teachers make the most of their time at the 2024 Wimmera Machinery Fields Days (Tuesday 5 – Thursday 7 March 2024).
With increasing pressure on teachers to ensure excursions are meaningful and education-based, Partners in Ag has developed the Ag Ed Quest to reduce the workload by generating the day’s program, aligning with curriculum outcomes.
The 2024 WMFD Ag Ed Quest Schools Program includes:
- FREE ENTRY FOR CHILDREN!
- Self-paced itinerary for Primary
- Timetable of children’s activities
- Customised scavenger hunt / Fact finding mission for:

- Junior Primary
- Senior Primary
- Secondary (Years 7-9)
- Secondary (10-12)
- Agriculture Students (VCE/VET/VCAL)
- Careers in Ag panel discussion (aimed at Secondary students)
- And more!
The development of the Ag Ed Quest for students would see a targeted and engaging approach to interactions between the students and exhibitors, with students learning about everything agriculture and giving exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their products and services to the next generation. It will be designed so that students engage with exhibitors in a consistent manner rather than ad hoc approaches.
This provides an opportunity for students to gain a greater understanding of the broad employment opportunities within the region as well as a safe and central meeting place to conclude the excursion.
By promoting a packaged resource to your school, the Wimmera Machinery Field Days Committee aims to build a relationship with you and your students and assist in coordinating the excursion from the very start.
The 2024 Wimmera Machinery Field Days is FREE for all students and teachers to attend – Pre-purchasing tickets through Partners in Ag will ensure Priority Entry on the day!
